This looks awesome! I had no idea the paul allen center was wired up like that, the rfid ecosystem looks very interesting. It definitely makes me want to get into the dept even more!

One footnote here. Sometimes you’ll see articles about decreases in the amount of “IT jobs.” For example, here’s one such article that came out recently:

It probably sounds like this article is about CSE jobs. Not true! “IT jobs” generally means jobs maintaining computer or information systems. That’s more of what the Information School (I-School, or the INFO major here at UW) does. Their field is very different from ours. They are network administrators, database managers, web site webmasters, and so on.

Anyway, when you hear about something bad happening in “IT,” just remember, IT != CSE.
